Founded by Ellie Sutton, Studio Dentro was born from a lifelong passion for thoughtful, emotive design and the belief that spaces have the power to shape the way we live, feel and connect.

Before founding the studio, Ellie worked across creative advertising, marketing and international brands, developing a strong understanding of brand storytelling, client relationships and the importance of creating experiences that resonate. This commercial and strategic background continues to shape Studio Dentro’s approach today, particularly across hospitality, commercial and multi-residential projects where design must not only look beautiful, but connect with its audience.

Driven by a desire to create spaces with meaning, Ellie formally pursued a career in interior design before launching Studio Dentro in 2020. Since then, the studio has rapidly evolved into a sought-after practice working across high-end residential, boutique commercial and multi-residential projects throughout Australia and internationally.

Today, Studio Dentro is recognised for its thoughtful, concept-led approach, balancing refined aesthetics with functionality, emotion and a deep understanding of how people experience space. Ellie is also a registered member of the Design Institute of Australia (DIA).
